Opening weekend raves – “The best two hours I have ever spent!”

It has been a fabulous opening weekend for Boys in the Band with concerts at Revesby Workers and Rooty Hill RSL.

Many rave reviews have been coming in and we are so thrilled that everyone is loving the show.

AUSTRALIAN TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED

After three years of traveling the globe, and several sold out Australian concerts, the boys are proud to unpack their bags and bring home the show in what will be their first official Australian tour.

Direct from their 2013 season at the Mandela Theatre in Johannesburg South Africa, where critics labelled them “a cut above the rest”, and audiences fell in love with their good looks, slick moves and tight harmonies, our talented cast are ready to rock the socks off Australian audiences.

Boys in the Band have previously performed sold out concerts at venues such as The Juniors, The Cube Entertainment Centre and Kuringai Twilight Festival, in addition to countless performances for high profile events such as the Singapore Formula One Grand Prix.

Boys In The Band jet off to Perth

Boys In The Band headed off to Perth for the second week in a row to perform on behalf of the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, Western Australia at their 15th Annual Bear By Night Ball.

Held in the stunning surrounds of Government House the event was a huge sensation, with Boys In The Band performing a 30minute non-stop roller coaster ride of hit after hit.

BITB in Kalgoorlie Mining Super Pit

Boys In The Band were honoured to perform for the Goldfields Annual Charity Dinner in outback Western Australia where a massive $265,000 was raised.

Jetting off to the mining town of Kalgoorlie, Boys In The Band were graciously given a tour of the famous “Super Pit” before heading to the event where the entire venue was transformed into a Willy Wonka heaven with bright lights, candy, Oompa Loompas, and even Willy Wonka himself.

The 1000 strong audience were treat to an amazing performance by Boys In The Band, and in a first for the ball had everyone up dancing by in the first song and right to the very end of their show which featured a medley of Imagine and Let it Be by the Beatles, tying in perfectly with the theme of ‘Imagination’.

After a short but well-earned break Boys In The Band once again hit the high seas with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines sailing on luxury liner Rhapsody of the Seas. Joining the ship in Port Vila, Vanuatu and cruising with guests to Noumea the boys performed two headlining shows as guest entertainers on board.

With rave reviews from guests of RCCL the boys will also be joining Celebrity Cruises in the coming months, setting sail with them in early March to perform on a cruise from Brisbane to Sydney.

Boys In The Band join Royal Caribbean Cruises once more today as they fly to Noumea to set sail on ship Radiance of the Seas to cruising with passengers all the way back to Sydney.

The talented cast will be appearing for two shows on board and once again look forward to entertaining guests with rave reviews from previous journeys.

BITB raise the roof at Newcastle concert

Boys In The Band raised the roof at Newcastle West Leagues for their first concert show following their successful two week season at The Joburg Theatre in South Africa.

The crowd were one of the best Australian audiences yet, and many loved hearing them earlier that day on local radio station 2NURFM where they were interviewed and did a special acapella performance. The boys were inundated after the show signing CD’s and posing for photos.
